what sort of guitar are you useing to play this as it looked like an accoustic but sounds closer to an electric or an elctric accoustic?

After sliding to the 8 fret (A-string) and then hitting the 7-fret, same string, how do you procede the next part. Do you just repeat the exact same chord progression and fingerpicking as the intro?
