Very helpful video! Thank you! But that dude in the background…..very annoying….hahahaha
Where can I get that button thingy? I live in OZ in the middle of whoop whoop and they don’t have them here Grrrrr They only have the stupid laces! Are they on eBay? I can’t find it. What would you call this?
    Thanks in advance!

@sofakingey every time you want to take the strap off you have to untie the knot. If you switch between sitting position and stand up often its kind of handy to have that little button thingy. You know, playing in a sitting position its kind of annoying to have the strap on the guitar.

  8. sofakingey says:

So basically he wants us to drive somewhere and buy something so we don’t have to tie a knot–something most of us learned before we could write.

Quick question, I have just traded in my nylon-string acoustic for a steel-string one, but my capo is meant for a nylon string guitar (with a flat fretboard). How important is it that I buy a steel-string capo for a curved fret board?

  24. tisha812 says:

    Well mine ties so…….

  25. Mastermnd0 says:

@tdragon360 sure why not… but the point is you should try to avoid doing anything that deviates from the standard technique/position or you’ll get bad habits. Bad habits might allow you to learn a few songs faster when you’re a beginner, but will limit your playing when you want to play more complicated stuff and you’ll have to constantly change your technique, which you’ll surely find demotivational.
