i think im going to use all the ones that i see…wait..and this is a serious question- as far as using to notes at once, like its a bar type chord, if i aleady figured one out prior to seeing your vid, do i still have to tell u? it sounds funny and wierd but im serious.

U know whats really cool about this guy? Not only does he take the time 2 help u out with bass-ic skills (yes I used a pun get over it) he doesnt even mind if u use his material or varations of it when u jam or perform with a band. Thats awesome keep up the great work D-MAN! :)

  3. Dmanlamius76 says:

    @Vivalafp No problem :)

  4. Vivalafp says:

My friend I love your riffs and I avidly play in a band. Yeah, avidly. Do you mind if use variations of your riffs? I like to sort change things around a lot.

  11. tutu1987 says:

    @Noobst3R99 nah it’s okay :D you’re right

  12. Noobst3R99 says:

@tutu1987 I know, but it’s not worth it for such a simple riff with an explanatory video. :p

I will be tabbing future riffs of the week if allowed, and maybe in GP as well if needed.

  13. tutu1987 says:

@Noobst3R99 man, it’s nice but I like GuitarPro tabs alot better than “notepad” ones…

  14. toxicthoughts747 says:

    great riff
do you mind if i use it as a basis for one of my bass lines?

  25. xamxamme says:

you should do a tutorial on the osaka jam thumbs up if you agree

  26. Dmanlamius76 says:

@WestCoastHermanek Ok man, no problem :)

  27. WestCoastHermanek says:

@Dmanlamius76 i must add to my comment than my english is piece of shit too, with very distance, i apreciate your work but i have some much experience with beginners when they learn this kind of stuff and just destroy music and art you know, again, hard to explain in not my language ;-) like piervous, no disrespect

  28. Dmanlamius76 says:

@DeathCrueVideos That is very kind of you man. I really appreciate it :)

  29. DeathCrueVideos says:

I have looked at pretty much all the free lesson on Youtube and on Line and Dmanlamius is the BEST and Dman if you read this I know you dont get it ALOT but thank you for all you do for us other bass players , the time and the details and the angle you show in your videos really makes me feel like a one on one lesson and No ONE else comes close to how well you teach thank you ..

  30. 333LZ66 says:

Hey. Im a bass player in denmark, and I have never taken bass lessons. Everythin I have learnt comes from you. Now that I have passed a certain level, I was wondering if you could please uplaod videos for intermediate players. I would really appreciate that.
    cheers

  31. darkkira31 says:

nothing i like more in bass than something laid back and something i can bob my head to when playing. and i love metal music but as a bassist i find the genre lame for bass cause its just about speed and not the slow clean feel of bass. love it keep up the work!

  32. Lassepetri says:

I have a tendency to overcomplicate my own riffs. This riff, and the rotw in general are really cool as a base, from where you can improvise. I like this alot, even though its simple. In fact, thats what makes this one cool. Hell if you want something hard, go find some of Dmanlamius’ ‘Cool funklines to learn’. Some of the lines are really really hard (eventhough they are ranked as intermediate)

  33. Dmanlamius76 says:

@Smazmania Thankyou, my friend. You just summed it up perfectly :)

  34. Smazmania says:

When you’ve not been playing bass for long, this sort of thing is perfect. Little snippets of simple riffs to learn. There are far too many people out there now that are trying to create the hardest, most advanced riffs to show off their skills & attract followers. No one is stepping back and doing this kinda thing. Keep it up :)

For anyone who does find this far too easy, check out MarloweDK on here, or google ‘Play Bass Now’.

Dman has an awesome community/setup for beginners :)

  35. Dmanlamius76 says:

@ndeathk1 Yea man, these riff of the weeks are aimed mostly at beginners, really. Nice and simple.

  36. Dmanlamius76 says:

@otahnub Yea man, these riff of the weeks are aimed mostly at beginners, really. Nice and simple.

  37. Dmanlamius76 says:

@RAZZAxDK Yea man, these riff of the weeks are aimed mostly at beginners, really. Nice and simple.

  38. Dmanlamius76 says:

@WestCoastHermanek It’s difficult to take it as no disrespect when you’ve called it a piece of shit. Lifeofbass has got it right. This is a very simple riff (like these will be) that is designed to give beginners a bit of confidence, like all my stuff is designed to do. If you don’t like it, go elsewhere. My aim is to help people. Not to look cool. That is all.

  39. Lifeofbass says:

@WestCoastHermanek Lol dude wtf, you mean no diissing, but say its a piece of shit? That quite a shitty double moral or u just dont know the words your using…

    Typical trolls…

  40. puckdiv says:

@WestCoastHermanek Your opinion is shit….. No need for you to have commented then. It’s idiots like you that feel a need to comment when your best off shuttin’ up. Dumbass…..

  41. WestCoastHermanek says:

if this helps somebody then ok but in my opinion this is piece of shit, no disrespect

  42. Sukirvijes says:

liked the previous ones much more.

  43. RAZZAxDK says:

    little to easy :)

  44. dendogg55 says:

    Nice work!!!!

  45. ndeathk1 says:

ya the last 4 have been too easy show some tapping or something

  46. otahnub says:

maybe a something a little more fun and challenging next time? just saying.

  47. wurzag667 says:

  48. Ankhin says:
