an artificial harmonic… see some vids so you learn
its a pinch harmonic. you pick the note then hit the string with your thumb directly after. there is a suggested way to hold the pick so that your thumb will hit the string al all in the same motion. and you put a little bit of vabrato on the note give it a real good squeel

I know a bit. I can make pinch harmonics. You may want to search for videos on youtube. It involves holding the pick really close to the edge, and digging into the string hard (so the thumb immediately mutes after) creating a really high noise.
Then you need some sound effects since all mine sound like shit. I need a whammy bar.
Though you really really need to find the videos explaining on youtube, I cannot via text.

Even though I can already sweep, I find this video hard to watch simply because he’s playing left-handed. It’s confusing. But for everyone who’s asking: this IS basic. Try doing 6-7 string sweeps that transcend the entire fretboard *cough*Malmsteen, Petrucci*cough*
