Although these songs do require some familiarity with the fretboard, they are easy given that Spanish guitar tends to be very intricate. Don't be intimidated though, there's a nice variety of simpler to more advanced songs. Also, the book tends to favor picking so don't worry about flamenco strumming patterns or anything like that.
