  1. Michael Goh says:

I love this book. The CD was a bonus and pieces well played that you can enjoy listening to it again and again.

Can’t say that all the pieces are easy as the book says but then a number of them are.

If there’s one classical guitar book that you would like to own, this would be one that I would confidently recommend. There are quite a number of enjoyable classsical guitar pieces that you would love to be able to play.

  2. I was hoping to find something that would interest me, as I get easily bored listening to the baroque stuff.

My interests lie more along the Pop and folk sounds, but do enjoy spanish guitar.

Most of the pieces are closer to an intermediate level than say a beginner.

You might need a few years under your belt to tackle these

the included CD is a nice touch and I frequently listen just for enjoyment

  3. This book has a great collection of songs that are about a minute or two long to keep you from getting stuck on any particular piece. Although these songs do require some familiarity with the fretboard, they are easy given that Spanish guitar tends to be very intricate. Don’t be intimidated though, there’s a nice variety of simpler to more advanced songs. Also, the book tends to favor picking so don’t worry about flamenco strumming patterns or anything like that.
